We will conduct a basic leather passport holder workshop over the course of 4 hours. (varies based on individuals)
Leather and tools will be provided, no pre-requisite skills needed. We will be using vegetable tanned cow leather.
Classes will be conducted in our Singapore factory at Kaki Bukit.
By the end of the lesson you will be able to bring home a usable product:
- Passport sleeve with
- one slot on the left side for passport front cover
- one slot on the right side for passport back cover
- 2 card slot on the left
Things that will be taught:
- Course duration: 5 hours
- Leather appreciation
- Cutting and gluing of leather pieces
- Punching of stitching holes
- Traditional way of hand stitching
- Edge finishing by burnishing
- Class size: maximum 4 pax
